The saga of Mighty Quinn Publishing began not long ago, with CEO Charlotte Quinn having lunch with some old friends and co-workers. She knew they had been working on a humorous book of true stories about their early days in the mortgage banking industry. Intrigued, she asked, “What ever happened to that book you were writing?”
With Charlotte’s extensive background in musical artist management, booking shows, and running an independent record label, she believed getting a book published and promoted wouldn’t be all that different. She also anticipated it would require similar skills she had long acquired. Charlotte was confident she could get this ambitious but stalled (for decades!) project finally off the ground.
The book Charlotte’s former co-workers penned was a hilarious collection of true stories about the years they all worked together in mortgage banking. The authors of this book had no idea how to have it published, but after helping them complete the book, Charlotte took on that glorious task. Facilitating the publishing of this book resulted in the very first Mighty Quinn project.
Under Charlotte’s leadership, the book, The Bugeater Lunch and Supper Club, became an Amazon Best Seller.
Having her first big success in the publishing field, Charlotte then proceeded to fully commit to her very own publishing company, Mighty Quinn Publishing.
Charlotte Quinn brings a wealth of skills and experience to Mighty Quinn Publishing:
a. Four decades in the fast-paced, highly competitive world of mortgage banking;
b. Over a decade in artist management, bookings, and promotion, working alongside international acts; and
c. Heading her own successful independent record label, Freedom Train Records, which achieved placements on the Billboard charts.
The publishing industry allows Charlotte to combine her passions for conducting complex business transactions with the literary creative process.
In addition to her publishing ventures, Charlotte has revived her old record label now called MQP Records (link: MQPRecords.com), expanding the company’s reach into the music industry. This move reflects Mighty Quinn Publishing’s dedication to fostering creative expression across multiple platforms, providing artists with opportunities to reach wider audiences.
